Friday Five

Hooray! I've been counting "sleeps" until the weekend since Tuesday. So happy it's here. It's been a while since I've been back on the blogside, so I'd thought I'd join in on one of my favorite linkups

ONE:
Holidays. It's now acceptable for me to pull out all our halloween outfits. Starting today. Which just so happens to be pajama day at school. So excited to take a trip to the pumpkin patch this weekend, wear our cute clothes from Coco Callies and end the week with our school's Trunk or Treat.

TWO:
Table Centerpieces. I need to blog about our house, but we have a huge farmhouse table that has been bare for a few months. I needed to "girl-up" this big piece. I saw this cute DIY the other day, but happened upon Michaels which carries some of the supplies.
Inspiration picture:

Because the boxes are smaller, I ended up getting 2. Now I'm kinda thinking I need three to fully center them on the table.

THREE:
Also home decor - I'm loving these big framed images and on the hunt for one with Tim McGraw's Humble and Kind lyrics on it. I'm really thinking it would be the perfect addition to our playroom.

FOUR:
Gators by week. As much as I love Fall, football and all the fun that comes with it, I'm super thankful for a little by week to GSD. We've been putting off running errands, looking for furniture pieces, etc since we've been consumed with Football. Excited for a little break. But when it comes back, I can't wait for Caroline's new outfit to get here. Look how cuteeeeeee:

FIVE:
Blogging. I'm so excited to get back into a routine. Hopefully it sticks. Anyone have any tips for me on how you plan out posts? For now I'm just excited to be joining the Friday Five linkup and the Friday favorites linkup

#TiffanyandCo | Bridal and Bachelorette Party

My long-time friend is set to get married in October and being her Matron of Honor, I couldn't wait to start Celebrating. Being her name is Tiffany, I've had the themes in my head for a long time now :)
Bridal Shower:
Brunch at Tiffany's
We set up a cute little brunch themed shower for one Saturday afternoon. We encouraged the guests to wear black and they did not disappoint. We had a mimosa bar, dessert bar, diamond donuts and so much fun.

Bachelorette Party:
Continuing with the theme - we went with "Tiffany and Co." Her closest girls travelled with her to Austin.  We rented out the cutest Airbnb, and scheduled a weekend of fun. I honestly don't know the last time I've laughed that hard.
My favorite memory from the trip was when we were getting ready to go out - we asked our cab driver to take a photo and as we were getting in formation, Tiffany (the bride to be) slipped and landed her foot right on a cactus. Thank goodness she had two nice friends who didn't immediately die of laughter (hint: one was not me) and was able to get the cactus out of her foot.

We bar-hopped on the first day and landed at the cutest outdoor spot. Complete with market lights:

First night out:

Tiffany and Co Shirts:

And the last night:
We were supposed to go river tubing, but unfortunately got rained out :( Next time, Austin, next time.

Caroline is HERE

I really let go of the blogging reigns a while back, but I wanted to take time after Caroline was here and put my pregnancy and delivery into words (Moreso for me, but hey...you're here too!)

I'm now a firm believer that girls are high-maintenance from the start. And as a "girly girl" I can say that. Caroline fit the mold. Her pregnancy was completely different than Wyatt's, she just wanted to make sure I was ready for her. I was sick pretty much the first 14 weeks, had incredibly bad bone pain and developed gestational diabetes with her. Because of that, I checked into my office 2 days a week for a little NST. All of them seemed normal, so we were able to schedule a repeat c-section for March 23rd.
The day before, the doctor talked to me about gestational diabetes affects on the baby. And that there was going to be a NICU team in the room in case her sugars were bad. I basically stopped listening from there and went into anxiety mode. Meanwhile, I swung Wyatt by the doctor since he was starting to get sick. He had a lovely green hue streaming from his nose and I knew that something was about to get icky. The doctor ensured me it was allergies and he was fine.
The night before Caroline's schedule C-section, I was a basket case. Wyatt started coughing, I was fearing the NICU team was going to be needed and I couldn't contain the fear of having two babies. Basket CASE.  We had to be at the hospital at 9am, so I woke with Wyatt and all he wanted to do was be held. I knew then, it wasn't just allergies..it was sickness. Sure enough, he was running a fever.  He didn't want me to leave his side.
Jason came to the living room "Time to go" -- Wyatt refused to let me go. Which of course made me burst into tears. The whole way to the hospital I was just crying. Everything hitting me at once.
The nurses and doctors at Winnie Palmer were AMAZING. The caught on right away that I was a little emotional and were so helpful. Soon enough I was laughing and being assured that both my babies were just fine.
At 10:46, our hearts grew a whole lot bigger when Caroline made her entrance

And then once her brother got a little bit better, he was able to come meet her:
