Five on Friday!

I'm SO happy it's already Friday, I love us some short weeks!! I say this after every holiday weekend, but work weeks should really only be 4 days.
one.
I'm obsessing over this cute necklace - but of course can't decide if I like the twitter handle or Monogram better.

two.
Like every other girl right now, I'm seriously digging the "Fancy" song.
Especially the video. It makes me want to go home and watch Clueless right now!

This weekend we're tackling some of the nursery. Including staining our big dresser and putting shelves in our closet like dis:

four.
Lately I've seen a ton of denim vests around and I finally broke down two weeks ago and bought one. I figured it would be the perfect addition to maxis, and I finally got a chance to wear it today. I was scrolling pinterest and saw this simple pin of K.Cav:
I immediately decided it was the outfit of the day for Friday.
Also, is it just me or is there something about a denim vest that makes me feel like a bad ass.

five.
I just realized that I need a new pair of black sandals. Mine have seen better days, I'm leaning towards these two options from good ol' Target. Which ones do you like better - left or right?
That's it for my Five on Friday. Hope y'all have a great weekend:

Bumpdate: 24 Weeks

How far along:
24 weeks!!
Baby Size:
Baby is the size of a cantaloupe (or an earn of corn, depending on the app). Those are quite different, aren't they?
Weight gain:
Dang. I've "popped". My appointment is Thursday, so I'm not entirely sure...but I'm betting around 15lbs (or more!)
Maternity clothes:
Yes! I don't fit into any of my pre-pregnancy clothes. I'm living in Maxi's, maternity jeans/shorts and tops. Oh, and a super fun maternity bathing suit.
Stretch marks:
Not yet. Fingers crossed they stay away.
Sleep:
Getting plenty of it. No problems in that department.
Best moment this week:
The three day weekend allowing me to get some fun and sun time with friends and family. On Sunday we loaded up the boats and heading out to my favorite place, Disappearing Island. Basically my weekend went the exact same way as last year - but this year all drinks were virgin. We always "celebrate" our engage-a-versary with a shot at Tavern, just like we did the night we got engaged. We did the same thing this year, but the bartender made mine with just Pineapple and Grenadine.
Looking forward to:
I'm always looking forward to our Doctor's appointments. They always help ease my mind! In the next month, I'm also looking forward to a few weekend getaways and going to see a taping of The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon at Universal. Also, I'm really looking forward to Jason feeling Wyatt's kicks.
What I miss:
I miss some wearing some of favorite clothes, although I do not hate shopping for new ones :) And this weekend, I did miss a nice ice cold beer while relaxing on the water.
Movement:
Definitely. He's going to town in there. I usually feel him most when I'm laying down.
Food cravings:
BLT's. I can't get enough. The weird part is I absolutely hated Tomatoes and Mayo. On a random day last week, I had a craving for a BLT. I haven't looked back since. I've had them for lunch and dinner almost every night this past week.
Anything making you queasy or sick:
Nada.
Gender:
BOY!
Labor Signs:
Nope! I'll leave this one towards the end of the surveys
Symptoms:
I'm having pretty intense back pain, Thank GOD for my heating pad. And, I saw that lovely Linea Nigra starting to make it's appearance. Thanks, friend.
Belly Button in or out? In - but I get frequent sharp pains around it. Which makes me think it's starting to flatten. :(
Wedding rings on or off? On
Mood:
So happy! We registered a couple weeks around, started planning the nursery, set a date for the baby shower (thanks to my amazing hosts, Kel-Kel and Steph), we now have a car seat, stroller and crib,  and every time I see My mom she has more adorable baby clothes. All of that means to me, that this is getting so real! It's definitely a surreal experience and I'm taking in every moment.
Nursery:
A little progress has been made - We started planning the inspiration, bought the amazing recliner and picked up the crib. Just need to get on staining the dresser.

Nursery Planning

It's well underway, that's for sure!
One thing I knew right away was that no matter the gender, I didn't want to paint the walls. Call me crazy, but I love the tan/neutrals all throughout the house. I'd rather work with neutrals (and save an argument or two over painter's tape) than put up a color that I loathe. So as far as my todo list goes for the nursery, wall color is checked off!
The theme was a tad more difficult to decide on. By difficult, I mean we had two different visions. I was loving the idea of a nautical theme - with navy, white, anchors and maybe whales. Who knows! Jason, on the other hand, wanted all sports everything. Which if you know Jason, you know that's typical. In order to get us both on the same page, we compromised with Navy and White colors, with Sports accents.
This is our inspiration:
Dream Big Little Man prints / Football Jersey sign
We have the dresser that just needs an updated stain - easy peasy. We were passed down the crib from my cousin and it's already dark wood. And probably my MOST favorite thing, the rocker/recliner, was purchased on Sunday. We found the perfect chair at Buy Buy Baby and ordered it right away!
I can't wait to see all of this come together.

BabyMooners

Who loves a good vacation? I do, I do!
During this whole pregnancy "thing", I jumped at the idea of Babymoon. Call me crazy, but I could honestly care less about a "Push Present", but a Babymoon, well that is something I'm all about.
Beach, Sun, Virgin Strawberry Daiquiris - Yes, Yes and Yes!
I would be lying if I didn't think that this could possibly be our last solo trip ever. That's a scary thought, and while Jason assures me that it won't be...I can't help but think "What if?"
I guess I really shouldn't say "last solo trip" - We do have plans early June for the Florida Country Fest (so nervous about that) and July 4th of course, but both of those are trips planned with friends and family. Which technically means this is the "solo" trip. We decided to book our Babymoon, right in between those, over our Anniversary weekend to kill two birds with one stone.  (2 years, what what!)
It's hard to believe that there are so many beaches in Florida that I haven't been to. We honestly looked at about 6 or 7 beaches to venture to. This trip we decided to book our stay at St. Pete and visit Tradewinds - mostly because Mr. Mature wants to play on the big slide.
And my criteria was a decent pool:
That'll do! :)
The Countdown is on!

#MiniMilton - Gender Reveal

Yesterday was just pure perfection. The weather was great, my friends and family were all surrounding us and we found out the gender!
My friend, Tiffany, was the one who hosted the party and all of the details were just so cute.
Some of the cute details:
The adorable cupcakes / Door Hanger / Blue punch / Pink punch

Guest came dressed in "their vote"
We found out the Gender by cutting in to the cutest dang cake I've ever seen.
As soon as he saw a glimpse of blue he started screaming!
It's hard to see here, but the cake has blue frosting inside AND blue M&M's. adorable!
Seriously, as cliche as it sounds, I felt incredibly blessed yesterday. We're beyond excited for Wyatt and can't wait to begin planning the nursery!
