Dear 3-day weekend, Oh heyyyy girl. So happy to see you. It's been a long time, no? Thankfully my only plans include Football and a Bridal shower. so let's play our time together by ear!
Dear "Messy bun", A coworker sent me a youtube video of you, and then Queen O' the Blogland, PLL did a post featuring you. So that makes it super cool and chic. I figured what the heck, any hairstyle that looks un-done is something that I could probably do. This is something that I just don't think I can pull off though - you ladies be the judge!

Dear Spreadsheets, you've made my life a living hell this week. I don't like you very much. You can go away now, far far away.
Dear Jason, Thanks for the sweet text this morning, and a picture of Bailey to brighten me up! Love you

Goin' to the Chapel - The formalities and Deets

First of all, I should start by telling y'all that taking the formal pictures was the most awkward moment for me. Standing up there, with all of my family watching just made me a nervous wreck.   Doing the bridal party, and pictures with Jason were mucccch more enjoyable. Here are some of my favorite shots.

Rain and House talk

Issac is paying us a little visit today. and by little I mean, this really isn't that much worse than a normal rainy summer day. That didn't stop people in Florida from freaking out. (while I know we were lucky, I'm praying for the people of Nola and their safety)
My company didn't want us to have to trek outside the office in this stormy weather, so they order Jimmy Johns for us to eat, dry and safe, in the office. I was a Happy Camper, to say the least.

I'm so thankful for a Monday that isn't all that bad.

This weekend was filled with a bunch of lazyness, and quite honestly I wasn't hating it. Spending so much time at the house made me realize that I really need to start sprucing it up. When we bought our house a few years back, we put a little bit of time and energy into it. Which basically means we bought the necessities and a little decorating here and there. I honestly don't believe that I would call any room "complete" Now that we are past the wedding, I would love focusing on making our little house more of a cozy home.

Putting things in a list form and publishing them, makes everything real. Right? I'll be Pinteresting the night away for inspiration. 

Friday Favorites

We made it to another Friday And next Friday will be the last work day before a 3-day weekend Hallelujah! My weekend is full of nothingness, and I'm not hating it one bit. Hopefully we can get a lot done this weekend. And by "done", I obviously mean a lot of rest. I need some rest. So, here's to you Friday. My favorites are pretty random, like myself. So in no particular order..

Obviously I've been overloading my blog about Chambray shirts. What can I say, when I obsess over an item...I really obsess. #sorryimnotsorry. Last night I finally found one. You guys, I'm in love with it. Also, you should note how hard and uncomfortable it is to take a mirror picture. I'm obviously wearing it today, with some white shorts. Ohhh, Happy Day!

My Wedding makeup artist suggested this for me. To help me clear up my dry, patchy (gross) skin. It works WONDERS Ladies. I'm usually the last one on the train, (i.e. Ol' Chambray Train) so I'm sure you've already heard about this years ago. But It's a lifechanger and it's one of my favorite parts about the day

All of you need to go check out Whitney, she is the sweetest (and wittiest) girl in the whole wide world. We share a love of Wine, HoneyBooBoo, Home Cities, Tailgating, and Spice Girls - If that's not a match made in heaven, I don't know what is. She did the most amazing Eye Shadow Tutorial the other day, and I can't wait to try it out over the weekend.  Moral of the story, She rocks and you should go see why...NOW!

Speaking of Spice Girls. I've been listening to them straight for the last two days. And I've been loving it. 'nuff said.

I'm really a lover of all Reality Shows. But something about Jersey Shows makes me so content. I'm loving the drama on this season's RHONJ. I rewatched the the whole "phone call" incident several times. It's not all drama either, Richie, Joe Gorga, and the Manzo boys always have me cracking up. Please don't ever go away

Gotta give my hunny a little shout-out. Bless his heart, he has class every single day this semester. Which I know is hard on him. Can't wait for this whole school thing to be done and over with. This is my last weekend with him before Football, and then I loose him till February.. we're definitely going to take advantage of our peace and quiet time this weekend.

Feeling a little Fall-ish,

I'm not sure why exactly. It's still so hot in Florida, and turns out a hurricane is on it's way to us. Which are two tell-tale signs that it's still Summer.   I think I'm just really looking forward to the things that Fall brings. Except for the gosh darn school-traffic, it's added so much time and stress to my everyday commute.  That's beside the point though. I am R.E.A.D.Y. I'm definitely looking forward to Tailgating Football. It's my favorite activity.

Unfortunately this picture was taken in January. All my "Fall Tailgating" pictures is of me in shorts and a tank top.  It would of ruined the true meaning behind this post, so we're gonna pretend that was in October, K? Ooooh, I'm definitely in the mood for homemade Soups and Stews, or Stoups as Rachael Ray calls em. I love Soups - but it's a tad weird eating them as you've come in the house in a full on sweat from the humidity. 

Chili, Onion Soup, My Pasta Fagoili Nothing is better than eating soup, cuddled up in your pajamas and watching TV. Which is why I'm also ecstatic when Fall TV comes back on. Which is why this little gem is in my planner. Just a little reminder to get excited for my favorite show!

And who could leave out Fall Fashions. I'm completely un-fashionably, but these little fashion trends make my heart skip.

via I want all of those outfits. Specifically that Chambray shirt, and Tory clutch. I've been looking online everywhere for a Chambray shirt and cannot find a simple one like that for the life of me. Literally at this point I'm willing to sell these two boys for one.

Goin' to the Chapel - The Ceremony

As soon as we got to the Church, Jason gifted me (via his Best Man) a gorgeous Tiffany's pearl necklace.

Once we dried off our tears, it was time to get the troops together to get me into my dress.

Since I we were getting married on my Grandparent's Wedding anniversary, I had a little bouquet charm of them on their wedding day.. 67 years prior.
