Blair Party of Two.

If you follow me on IG, chances are I blew up your feed. It was definitely a wedding for the books. Everything was so so gorgeous.
When I was in Miami for Steph's Bachelorette Party, I shared my love for Instagram and hashtagging with the girls.  A few weeks before the wedding, I saw a cute pin floating around Pinterest that shared the wedding hashtag for guests to tag Instagram pictures.
Love this idea! It's such a great way to view all of your Guest's pictures in one place.  I brought this idea up to the Bride, and came up with a few ideas for hashtags. She loved #Blairpartyof2 and that's what all of us used during her weekend.
The day was extremely calm, we woke up at a ridiculously early hour (ahem: 6:41am) because of someone's alarm. Went down stairs for a delicious breakfast and then moved on up to the gorgeous presidential suite to get ready!
Stephanie was calm the whole day! I remember people telling me the same thing, but something about seeing a Bride just excited to marry her love and not stressing one bit...well it's a beautiful thing! My tears started flowing as soon as the photographers came (coincidentally right after my makeup was done) and started setting up her gorgeous dress.
And not only was she calm, but she was absolutely stunning! I'm talking flawless. I'll let the rest of my pictures do the talking.

The wedding was exquisite. Every detail was so well thought out... the fall colors she picked were perfect. I wouldn't have expected anything less, this girl has amazing style and taste!

Beautiful Wedding, Beautiful Bride and and even more Beautiful Relationship. I'm so happy to see what the future has in store for them.

Congratulations, Steph and Blair!

Part two of Birthday Celebrations

Jason turned 28 last week, and I wanted to make this one super special. Complete with a cheesy "Happy Birthday to my Husband" card.

I posted about his big Celebration already, but on his actual birthday I wanted to have a fun-filled day with just the two of us.

I attempted to make Funfetti pancakes, they looked beautiful in the pinterest Picture.
Don't worry, I was successfully able to make pancakes and eggs. We didn't starve.

After breakfast, we headed out to Gatorland. Which is just a fun local attraction near Orlando. It was pretty chilly, but surprisingly a lot of the gators were out and about.

We ran home to change and opened presents,

When we were flying back from our honeymoon, we had a layover in Miami. There was a Shula's restaurant in the airport and Jason mentioned that he always wanted to try it. Imagine my surprise when I heard a Radio commercial for one just 20 minutes from our house. I booked the reservations a few months ago and kept it a secret. He was stoked when we pulled up.

On the reservation, I mentioned it was his birthday. The had a birthday card, signed by the whole staff for him.

It was a fantastic day. Cheers to many more!

What I did and didn't do during Thanksgiving

Just for fun, I looked back at my Thanksgiving post from last year (it's right here) and I'd thought I do this post in a similar fashion.
Thanksgiving was especially fun this year. So here's a little recap.
I did have a whole week off for this holiday, can't say I hated that at all.
I didn't do near the amount of housework I wanted to do, instead I ran errands and shopped. Oh, and caught up on the entire season on RHOM. judge away!
I did successfully spoil my husband on Monday.
I didn't post about it just yet, but here's a preview of what's to come.
us at Gatorland
I did enjoy 2 Thanksgivings on Thursday and one on Sunday. They were all so delcious, but I'm turkeyed-out
I didn't have any family issues. HOORAY! Mostly because our "biggest issue" was sleeping through the whole dinner. Without her, it was very relaxing and drama free!
Mama's Turkey
I (finally) did get to stand next to one of my best friends as she married her love. It was beautiful in every single way.
I didn't trip walking down the longest aisle of my left. I was scared the whole way, just take a look.
It was absolutely beautiful. I'll be sharing pictures this week!!
I did cheer on my Gators to a Victory.
I didn't watch the game. Just received scoring handsignals from Jason during the ceremony and reception.
He celebrated with an "Alligator drool" beer
That is my little week(end) Recap. Hope y'all had an amazing Thanksgiving!

Gratitude.

Happy Thanksgiving eve, Love bugs!
I've been trying out this whole "real housewives" thing this week. I just wish I had my reality crew running around following me. Boo.

This is the time of year that we stop for a minute to give gratitude and thanks in between second helpings, football, parades and family fighting. Oh, the fighting is just in my house? dang.

This year I'm Thankful for...

A job that I love. It's a fun workplace, my co-workers are awesome, and I get to learn something everyday.

Chardonnay. Needs no explanation

Hilarious BuzzFeed articles to get me through my workdays.

Pinterest. Lord knows that I wouldn't know how to live my life without it.

All these amazing Crockpot recipes on Pinterest. Those things make my heart go pitter patter.

Andy Cohen. Why? Because I'm pretty much obsessed with all Bravo shows and he's the mastermind behind all of the craziness. His Talk show too... WHHL has a drinking game, pretty amazing.

My beautiful friends. I've done a lot of growing this past year. Thankfully I've had a few friends that have been there every step of the way. I could not imagine my life without them.

Red Velvet Icecream. It's legit, yo!

And, my little family. I love coming home to Jason and Bailey every day.

Hope y'all have an amazing Thanksgiving. You can just call me TayTay tomorrow.

Birthday in the House

It's my favorite person's day of birth.
Our first one as husband and wife.

I've planned a few things these past few days to make him feel extra special. Saturday we had his family birthday dinner, I was able to persuade one of my friends to come over while we were at dinner and decorate our house before we hit the town.
Sidenote: Surprising someone when you live together is hard. Really hard.

The house was decorated in his favorite colors (Orange and blue) and we had our pregame drinks in the form of a cake.
Our family picture:

and then we went downtown to Jason's favorite country bar. It was a great time, minus the fact that this bar apparently didn't have a working AC. Let me just tell you, that is not okay in Florida. ever.

Today is his actual birthday, so I've planned a day full of surprises. I woke him up to funfetti pancakes (which we're horrible, by the way) and bacon. We're getting ready to head out to Gatorland and then have dinner planned tonight.

Happy Birthday, to my lifelong best friend. You are my heart and soul, and I hope you feel extra special today.

A whole lotta nothing

Hey, Hey, Hey!
My weekend was glorious and uneventful. After work on Friday evening, I went out with co-workers for "a drink or two"...and then this happened.
Yup. A drunken blurry night filled with Fireball shots.
The worst part, is the Fireball shot was my idea.
WHHHHHHYYYYY?
This crazy night led to two full days of lounging on the couch. Filled with game-watching, DVR-clearing and Netflix-abusing. We only left the house for a few meals.
You win, Happy Hour, You win.
bitch.
Bailey enjoyed all of the naptimes.
why does he insist on acting like a cat?
This week I'm in full on Birthday Planning for one very special birthday boy:
The problem with this guy is he only "Needs" things, he doesn't ever "Want" anything. And, quite frankly getting this boy the necessities after so many years is boring.
aka: I would love to any and all gift ideas.

Ready for the Weekend.

It was so hard to get out of bed today.
It was cold and I was snuggling Bailey.
Atleast tomorrow I can stay in bed a tad bit longer

Dear Dinner in the Crockpot, I'm so looking forward to you. There is really a sense of accomplishment I feel when I prepare dinner and have it in the crockpot before running out the door for work. And, when I stroll in the house today at 4:30, it will smell a delicious smell of pulled pork.

Dear Budget, All these meals at home this week...and leftovers for lunch. Yeah, I am owning you this week. BOO-YAH.
(do people still say that?)

Dear Wednesday Night TV, you are the highlight of my Week. Modern Family, Duck Dynasty, Nashville and the Challenge. I love everything about you. everything. Especially the fact that it's been two days and I'm STILL laughing over Modern Family and Duck Dynasty.

Dear November, you are quite the busy month but I'm excited. Weddings, Birthdays, Thanksgivings (yes, plural...we've got 3 this year!), and cooler weather. As long as you and my budget can get a long, we'll be besties. Just you remember that!
stolen pictures from facebook, tisk tisk :)

Dear 10 year HS reunion, dang you're coming up quick! Starting the basic planning with my lovely friend, 5ohWifey. In high school, I was never about being involved in these things. Not that I was too cool for SGA, that wasn't it all ALL. It's just that I was too busy finding ways to spend every waking second with my girlfriends, so much so that I quit Soccer just to have more friend time. Nearly 10 years later...I'm excited to be apart of the planning and the coordination. Who doesn't LOVE party planning.
Class of 2003, what what!
Dear Lee Brice, I didn't do a proper blogger weekend recap this past Monday. Your concert was awesome. You are awesome and I'm 90% sure that you were drunk the whole time. 10 points for you!
and Fireball, 10 points for you too, friend!

Happy Weekend!

Currently, I am...

I saw this post a few weeks ago on Katie & Steph's blog - it's too much fun to pass up.

Reading: Blogs are about the only thing I read now and days and I sometimes can't even manage to do that! I did pick up the amazing People issue with Justin and Jessica's wedding recently, does that count?

Thinking about: How I need to get my roots done asap. What else I should get Jason for his birthday. How disgusting these political rants are on Facebook (I can't even look anymore). How badly I want Chicken Noodle soup. and How amazing it would feel to lay in bed and watch an SVU marathon right now.

Loving: a lot right now. While newlywed life is never blissful, I'm just loving that our relationship is strong and can endure all things. At the very end of the day, I'm with my best friend in the world and that's enough for me. The life we are building together is still taking baby steps, but I know all the pieces of our final puzzle will come together in due time.
awwww

Looking Forward To: The Holidays, duh! I love being able to slow down for a bit and spend time with my family and friends. I have a week scheduled off for Thanksgiving and we are given almost 2 weeks off for Christmas/New Years. So I may be also looking forward to all those vacation days...just a little bit.
Can't wait to get our Christmas Tree (too soon?)

Wondering: If Florida will ever stop being a complete embarrassment. I highly doubt it, but I guess you'd think that if you're the laughingstock of every election then you would at least get your act together sometime soon.

Cooking: Low carb meals. blah. Every few weeks Jason wants to eat healthy during the week days and coincidentally I want to eat more and more sweets. I'm looking forward to trying these this week:

Disliking: This little sickness I've got going on. It's needs to GO! Which is exactly why I want to cure it with Chicken Noodle soup & that SVU marathon.

Happy About: that despite crappy work days (like making a leeetle mistake) that I can come home to our house, eat a delicious home cooked meal (with wine) and cuddle up with Bailey and Jason. It makes the bad days seem bearable.

Excited About: all of the amazing things my friends are experiencing. It is Weddings on Wedding on Weddings in my group of friends, and I'm not hating. I just wish one more friend would be the next one engaged, I'm looking at you S! We LOVE Weddings.

Wishing for: that damn money tree to grow in my back yard...

What I'm excited for today....

My absentee ballot has been signed, sealed and delivered. Now I just get to sit back and express all the things I'm grateful for now that this election is coming to an end.

Like...

My mailbox becoming uncluttered.  Thank the Lord, no more political one-pagers taken up space where my precious magazines, wedding invites and not-so-precious bills go.

Random people coming up to my door, as soon as I pull in the driveway, to explain amendments to me.

FACEBOOK RANTS.
also, full blown Facebook Debates. I'm talking like 50 comments deep.Have you seen those?
I can't wait for Social Media to turn back to "normal" again.

Political Debates replacing my shows. Because let's face it, I just really wanted to watch Grey's Anatomy & Modern Family.

TV Commercials
and..
Radio Commercials

And since I didn't get a little sticker in my Absentee ballot, here's mine badge of voting honor

Country Music at it's finest

I just cannot get over how happy I was with the CMA's last night. I truly love everything about Country music and Country music singers. They embrace each other, praise each other and come together to support each other.
Country music is good for my soul
Here are a few of my favorite parts of the show.
one.
Carrie, Carrie, Carrie
I mean... can she possibly get any more perfect? Her outfits were amazing. Each and every one of them! Her performance? to die for! The opening with Brad was hilarious and so fun! Her Gangnam style dance was a spot on. And, on top of all of this, Flo-Rida must have already taught her to whistle! There's is nothing this girl can't do.
My favorite outfits she wore last night were the sequin top/white skirt and the dramatic black dress. Stunning.
Which were yours?
two.
Eric, Jason, and Luke
Words cannot express how happy this makes me. What a combo? The song was such a true-blue Country song, and the performance kicked booty. Speaking of booty, those tight pants? Yeah. I like those too.
Can you three please go on concert together?

three.
 Eric Church taking it home
Jason and I have been big fans of Eric for years. We've seen him in concert about 6 times.
Which is just enough time to know his signature chest thumping routine.
Eric has deserved this for a long time now. I even think Jason may have shed a few tears when he won.
How adorable was it when he mentioned his son, Boone McCoy?  Just adorable, and I loveee that name
on a side note: I'm loving Jake's future daughters name, Pearl.
Boone and Pearl could be the next...

four.
 Blake and Miranda
I've decided, these two people are the more talented and extremely famous couple version of us. I just love them. I'm so glad they "swept" the awards and took home Song of the Year, Male Vocalist, Female Vocalist and Entertainer of the year.
Someone's mantle runneth over.
Each award they won, they look more and more humbled by it.
I don't think I could get over their lovey-doveyness when they won Song of the Year. It just melted my heart to pieces.
(where I cried)

five.
and none for Gretchen Weiners Taylor Swift
Okay, so I'm going to sound a little "Mean girl" here. True country finally won out tonight. 'bout time.
I love Ms. Swift, but I think she is a little less country and a lot more pop.
As Brooke said the other day
I'm just more Miranda Lambert than Taylor Swift.

Did you watch? What were your favorite parts?
