Goin' to the Chapel - Let's Dance!

Anyone that knows Jason and I knows that We like to Party
We like, We like to Party
(name that tune...)
So we knew when planning our Reception, that we wanted to have fun. More importantly, we wanted to dance our little married hearts out.
Our Bridal Party all did a little dance with each other
During our introduction, Jason accidentally stepped on my bustle and it broke. Our coordinator was prepared to fix it but we had to do our first dance first.
Looking back I wish I could of said no to the person who suggested that I "just hold your train during your first dance"
We ate, We toasted, We cut cake...
and then came the dance partay

Feeling a little Fall-ish,

I'm not sure why exactly. It's still so hot in Florida, and turns out a hurricane is on it's way to us. Which are two tell-tale signs that it's still Summer.

I think I'm just really looking forward to the things that Fall brings.
Except for the gosh darn school-traffic, it's added so much time and stress to my everyday commute.
That's beside the point though.
I am R.E.A.D.Y.
I'm definitely looking forward to Tailgating Football. It's my favorite activity.
Unfortunately this picture was taken in January.
All my "Fall Tailgating" pictures is of me in shorts and a tank top.
It would of ruined the true meaning behind this post, so we're gonna pretend that was in October, K?
Ooooh, I'm definitely in the mood for homemade Soups and Stews, or Stoups as Rachael Ray calls em. I love Soups - but it's a tad weird eating them as you've come in the house in a full on sweat from the humidity.
Chili, Onion Soup, My Pasta Fagoili
Nothing is better than eating soup, cuddled up in your pajamas and watching TV. Which is why I'm also ecstatic when Fall TV comes back on. Which is why this little gem is in my planner. Just a little reminder to get excited for my favorite show!
And who could leave out Fall Fashions. I'm completely un-fashionably, but these little fashion trends make my heart skip.

I want all of those outfits. Specifically that Chambray shirt, and Tory clutch. I've been looking online everywhere for a Chambray shirt and cannot find a simple one like that for the life of me. Literally at this point I'm willing to sell these two boys for one.
Any takerssss?

Rich in our own way

Last night while Jason was having the TIME of his life watching Wrestling (ugh).
I was catching up on all things Instagram.
It's addicting, you know. Who's wearing what? Who's eating what? Who's loungin' by the pool? You know the drill.

It makes me wish I had everything.
Besides all the adorable bracelets, necklaces and outfits, I've been obsessing over Erin Condren Planners and those gorgeous Speedy Bags.

To.Die.For.

As I'm in this little Material World. Wanting and Lusting after every single thing I see, knowing pretty darn well that right now isn't the time to shell out $50 for a planner. Or, even $30 for an adorable dress that will be great for work, girls' night and tailgating - You Name It. It's just not justifiable right now.

Jason looks over and asks what I'm doing. My response is that I'm just sitting here wishing we were rich.

And, then...

said the most amazing thing.

"We are Rich"

Rich in Love.
Rich in Family & Friends
and, Rich in Puggle kisses.

That we are. We are very lucky to be Rich with Love, Family/Friends and Puggle Kisses

(disclaimer: neither one of those cute puggles are Bailey)

It's time for me to start counting my blessing, and stop wishing for things I don't have. Thank you Hubs, for making me realize just how lucky I truly am. Youz a Genius, boo.

Mama's Day

Mother's day is right around the corner. So far our plans are to hang out with Jason's side of the family since my mom, sister and nephews are heading to the beach. Wish I could make the trek over there, but I've just got too much stuff on my plate right now.

While I've already made and wrapped her gift (I'll share on Monday, after she's opened it -HI MOM!). I've found some cute items on etsy that would be right up her alley.

Maybe some cute decor for her beach casa! I love love love this pillow. Our family has an affinity for Crabs, because we have a family seafood business. I think it would adorable on her couches. And, that wreath...so cute, so beachy, so welcoming. love it!
Wreath/Pillow

She loves her Tennis, and plays it several times a week. The bag is by Kate Spade and just ADORABLE. The sign is an etsy find, and too cute for words

Or maybe this adorable little mom scrapbook. It has all of these questions that you and your mom can answer together.  It's a great little keepsake. I love this ring, I'm not quite sure if my mom would. But I would definitely rock it (if you plan on getting me anything, Bailey)

What are your plans to spoil your Mom?Grandma? or maybe even yourself?

First Blog Award & Weekend Recap

Hi y'all, sorry I've been behind on the Weekend Recap. I'm still somewhat recuperating (from just friday -it was a wild one.)

Friday day, we had our LOCO at work. Which is basically when our whole company goes out and does something fun. We headed out to Wekiva Springs for a beautiful day on the water, some intense volleyball, lots of drinks and one SERIOUS rainstorm party killer.

At these locos, we celebrate employee's anniversaries with custom hats. They made me an adorable bridal veil - that later was a causality in the horrible rain storm.

Other than that my weekend was pretty uneventful, I did become a godmommy to a beautiful baby girl

Last night, I received a sweet sweet email from Stephanie, who blogs at Quails' Quirks (check her out). She gave me the Liebster Award, and I'm so happy to say that it's my first award! Woop Woop

Fun, right?

Each Nominee Should:
1. Choose five up and coming blogs to give the Liebster award to. Blogs must have less than 200 followers.

2. Show your thanks to the blogger who gave you the award by linking back to them.
3. Post the award on your blog.

4. List the bloggers you gave the award to with links to their sites. Leave a comment on their blogs to let them know they've received the award.

5. Share five random facts about yourself!

My five blogs are:
1. My Girl, Steph @ Living with Intention
2. Sweet Sweet Laurie @ The Rookie Wife
3. My Wedding go-to, Shannon @ Page Twenty-Two  (she's over 200, but she's awesome - check her out)
4.  The Beautiful Brittney @ Diary of a Southern Brunette
5. Fellow Puggle lover, Katie @ Miss Dixie

and, here are the five facts I betcha didn't know about moi:
1. I. have. a. sweet. tooth - Like, am in dire need of chocolate everyday
2. I get insanely pissed when I see hashtags on facebook. #thesearefortwitter #ortheoccasionalblogpost
3. I collect koozies from every event. We have a collection of over 100 at home. Which is why they are  our favors for our wedding!
4. I have a (somewhat) irrational fear that my future child will kill me in the future. I wish I was joking, but those stories scare me.
5.  I'm not as picky as some people I know (ahem, Steph) but I HATE green vegetables, or eating foods that I can't pronounce

And, there you have it! I can't WAIT until tomorrow - my new (and OH, so improved) blog is ready! eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek

Another year older

Yesterday was my birthday and I was beyond spoiled by my friends, family and Jason. I couldn't be more thankful for the people I share my life with, they are amazing. The best part? Is that the celebrating hasn't ended... In true "me" fashion, I still have a birthday PARTAY planned for Saturday night at a Country Bar. It's the one time of the year I can drag our friends out to my kind of place. You're welcome, guys!

Originally Jason had a Basketball game scheduled for Thursday night, so he planned for us to go to dinner on Wednesday. Of course, just like during our engagement, I had to be a brat and ruin the original plans. He had planned all week to take me to this Steakhouse, and I gripped about it because I wanted to go somewhere more romantic and Steakhouse's are HIS thing (feel free to call me a bitch)

I came home from work to find this on my Kitchen Table

Now these are some of my favorite things in the world. For starters, WINE! Flowers, Chocolate covered Strawberries AND a Red Velvet Cupcake! So sweet.  In the bag, was this beautiful watch

in LOVE.

Jason and I then got ready and headed to dinner. He drove to the steakhouse and as we waiting at the light in front of it, I said something that looking back I REALLLY regret

"So, on you're birthday can I take you to a place that I want to go?"

His response:
"Sure, Like where babe? Luma"

He then drove past the Steakhouse and headed to Park Avenue where Luma is located. I felt so bad! I wish I could now say, We ate at Luma and it was amazing.

I can't.

Luma is completely beautiful inside. But as soon as we sat down and read the menu, I realized that I'm not this fancy. I'm not this kind of girl. I didn't know anything on the menu. And, I'm way to picky of an eater to be able to just pick at $30 Chicken entree with things that I can't even sound out.

I wanted to be at the Steakhouse, and I made a big deal about it. I'm an Idiot! Jason just laughed it off, and we grabbed a glass of wine at Luma. Then we walked down the avenue to another restaurant, 310, and had a delicious meal. Followed by Chocolate covered Oreos and Cake Pops from my favorite chocolate shop.

It was delicious!

And, boy does he love me. Bless his heart.

The next morning I came to work, Chickfila in hand, to a festive birthday desk decorated by the sweet Stephanie!

Complete with a little birthday Crown, how cute!

For lunch my wonderful coworkers took me to a bar by our office that serves pretty much the best meal ever.

This plate of goodness is call the Big Kids Meal.  It's a Jumbo hotdog, chicken tender, Mac and Cheese, Fries and a Jello shot! And, let me telll you - It was ahhhh-mazing!

I ended my night with my family. This is probably one of the best birthdays I've had, I really felt so loved every minute of these past few days!

We're heading out to the fair tonight, hope y'all have a great weekend.

Saying Good-Bye to Twenty Eleven

Wow, this year has been a fantastic year for me! We're ringing in 2012, the same way we rang in 2011 - at New Smyrna Beach. It's my home away from home, it's a much quieter and low key place than Orlando. Jason is on his way home from work, and we are packing up and shipping out tonight! Can't Wait!

This year has been one for the books.

In the beginning on the year, we went to Nashville for Valentine's Day weekend

Then, Celebrated my birthday with a few friends:

I landed an awesome job, with an amazing company:

We went to a few fun concerts this year:

Kenny Chesney:
We won these field tickets

Tim McGraw, Luke Bryan and The Band Perry

and, Runaway Country Festival
 Dierks Bentley
 Eric Church
 Justin Moore
 Miranda Lambert
US! :)

Then, in May....

In August, I went on a Company Cruise, were we had a fun Scavenger hunt:

and we drank:

We wedding planned like it was our job - booked the ceremony, reception, dj, caterer, photographer, and got my wedding dress :)

Took our Engagement Pictures

We Celebrated Jason's Birthday and My Mom's Birthday

A week later, we said good-bye to that beautiful dog, Tari. :(

For Christmas, we celebrated 5 times with our families

My favorite gift from Jason was this little beauty:
A $200.00 giftcard to get a beautiful dress Lilly Pulitzer dress : )

He loved his Gator Bowl Tickets and Pocket Knife - such a boy!

What can I say? It's truly been a blessed year, I can't wait to see what the new year brings.

Happy New Year Ladies!
