Bienvenido a Miami

I'm surprisingly alive after this weekend's shenanigans. It was a close one though. All of us girls arrived in Miami around 5pm. Our room took for-eve-r to get situated,thanks to the less than competent staff at the hotel. It did however come with 2 bottles of champagne....addressed to a MR. Serafin and his bachelor party. 

Whateves...the Champs tasted great!  After several cocktails, a few tears and of course some lovable talk started flowing. Then it was time to turn up the music, and start getting ready for Dinner. We headed off to a Tapas place, in which no one could read the menu. So we ordered 4 pitchers of Sangria, and sparingly ordered food that we could somewhat translate. 

After dinner we headed over to the Delano, pool side bar..... For $17 cocktails. 

Luckily, the MOH has tons of game. She met up with these boys that had a Table at some club. You probably know by now, that I'm not much of a club person. When in Rome (Miami).... We all stuck by the buddy rule, no girl was allowed to be left alone. So we followed the boys from the safety of a cab, and headed to Bamboo. In which this kid proceeded to pay $1,000 for us all to get in and then for 2 bottles of grey goose for us.  Yea, I was a little shell shocked for the first few minutes.

Needless to say that Saturday started off a little rough, but nothing a few Poolside Bloody Marys couldn't cure. We hung out by the pool for a few hours, only until we were informed of a Rooftop Pool Party at our hotel. #score

We ran into a bachelor party, that again the MOH was able to work her magic and they were letting us hang in their cabana all day long. We partied like we were 21 until about 5 ish, and then headed in to shower for our dinner rez at 8.

Oh, where was I? The 2pm Patron shots caught up to me...and I went comatose after my shower. I awoke to the ladies walking back in the room at 10:45 from dinner (with Leftover mac and cheese for moi, God love them) Sunday was spent with a little ride to the Versace house, Swinging by Dash, and a BBQ lunch at Austens - before we hit the road to Orlando.

and that was our weekend in a nutshell. It was so much fun, and I cannot wait for the rest of her wedding festivities!!!

Bachelorette Bash - Part Tu(tu)

Hey ladies! Thank you so much for your sweet comments yesterday, I'll be emailing you back shortly. To sum it all up - yes, I'm so grateful to have such amazing friends in my life. God has really blessed me with wonderful, caring, thoughtful and FUN people.

Saturday started off rough -  Steph and I woke up at 6:50am for some unknown reason and decided to go sit out by the pool for a few hours to let the girls sleep in. We went back to the room around 8:30 and just as I decided to close my eyes to prevent my impending hangover the fire alarm went off. The whole hotel had to evacuate the building

A few girls went to breakfast, while I tried to nurse my hangover so it wouldn't ruin the whole day. Two hours later, Steph made me a mimosa and I woke up and headed to the pool.
We soaked in some more sun, and took our first bridal party picture! I love these girls SO much.

After a few hours at the pool, we ran upstairs to get ready for the night. Everyone was in normal "getting-ready" clothes until I left the room for about 3 minutes and I returned to them in Tutus, and adorable shirts.

They also made me a "To do before I do" checklist for the night.

And, here's the proof.

 It was so much fun! We had a delicious breakfast buffet the next morning and then heading home for a little bit of recovery.

I couldn't of ask for a more amazing weekend, everything was perfect and my friends really made me feel so so special.
Now, I just need more of my friends to start getting engaged so I can't start planning these things! They really set the bar high with mine!

Bachelorette Bash - Part 1

Hey girlies. Sorry this is a tad late, as it turns out I don't recover as quickly as I did when I was 21. I was exhausted beyond belief yesterday and I still haven't even unpacked or done laundry from this weekend. 
Let's recap, shall we? Just a bit of a warning - this is going to be a very picture heavy post.  Pictures are worth 1,000 words, right? Right! On Friday, a few girls meet at my house to drive down to Clearwater. I greeted them with Mimosas for the morning. 

We overstuffed the cars, swung by ChikFila (necessary) and headed out for one of the best weekends in my life. The resort we stayed at was AMAZING. It felt like a caribbean resort, the pool was beautiful, the water was clear and, my favorite part, they greeted us with champagne upon check-in. 

The girls decorated the room and Steph made adorable water bottle labels and glasses for everyone. I knew this weekend was off to a great start.

and then we headed down to the beach for some sun!

After we sunned ourselves for a few hours, we headed up stairs to get ready for the night! I've been pretty much left in the dark as to what we were doing this whole weekend, so it was FULL of surprises for me! Including an tear-jerking slideshow going through my childhood, highschool years, college years and life with Jason. It was the sweetest thing! After I dried my tears, we headed downstairs to "catch a cab"

Except, it wasn't a cab. They rented a limo for the night and we were heading across town for an amazing dinner at Ocean Prime.

Which true to style got a little crazy...the waiters were feeding us shots, a congo line happened, and we came home with two ties.  The night ended with a few more drinks at Blue Martini and a Limo ride dance party on the way back to the hotel.

My mom looks scared to death. Couldn't be more perfect!

The Sun & The Sand

It's time. My Bachelorette Bash is this weekend. I feel like my amazing girlfrands (and Momma) have been planning this forever. and it's finally finally here.  We're heading down to Clearwater beach tomorrow morning (car-baring it the whole way, as the Kentucky Priss would say) - and staying on the beautiful beach. Friends, Beach, Booze, Sun, and more Booze - what more could a girl want?
Excited doesn't even being to describe how I feel right now! I simply can't WAIT.  Have a good weekend y'all!
